The passive infrared motion detector (PIR) for indoor and outdoor wall/ceiling installation (IP54) is a fully automatic light control device capable of controlling a lighting system (see power ratings that can be controlled in the technical data table). During the night or in dark environments, the motion detector turns on the connected lighting system when it detects movement in its field of coverage. During the day or in areas with sufficient natural light, the built-in twilight sensor saves electricity by switching off the lights, in fact, by acting on the twilight controller, you determine the level of brightness at which the lighting system should come into operation . An adjustable timer allows you to choose how long the light should stay on after activation. An important feature of the PIR detector is the intelligent control of the "zero crossing" relay that optimizes load insertion by increasing the life of the relay.
Motion detectors and presence sensors are tools that increase the energy efficiency of the electrical systems in which they are installed. These devices, in fact, adapt the consumption of electricity to the real needs of lighting. The adjustable twilight threshold allows you to select when natural light is no longer sufficient for the user and therefore artificial light must be switched on. The switch-off delay time adjustment allows you to minimize waste, giving you the ability to set how long the light should stay on in the absence of people in the detection angle. This means switching on the light only when the sunlight is not enough and only for as long as you are present in the room.
Motion detectors are electronic switches controlled by a passive infrared sensor sensitive to heat radiation emitted by moving people. The motion detector activates the connected loads (lamp ignition, fans) when it detects movement in its coverage area. Deactivation takes place with a user-adjustable time delay. An adjustable twilight sensor prevents the lighting from switching on depending on the ambient brightness. Il rilevatore di movimento a raggi infrarossi passivi (PIR) da installazione a parete/soffitto in ambienti interni ed esterni (IP54), è un dispositivo di controllo luci completamente automatico in grado di controllare un impianto di illuminazione (vedere potenze pilotabili in tabella dati tecnici). Durante la notte o in ambienti bui, il rilevatore di movimento accende l'impianto di illuminazione collegato quando rileva un movimento nel suo campo di copertura. Durante il giorno o in ambienti sufficientemente illuminati dalla luce naturale, il sensore crepuscolare incorporato consente di risparmiare energia elettrica disattivando le luci, infatti, agendo sul regolatore del crepuscolare, si determina il livello di luminosità al quale l'impianto di illuminazione deve entrare in funzione. Un timer regolabile consente di scegliere per quanto tempo la luce deve rimanere accesa dopo l'attivazione. Una caratteristica importante del rilevatore PIR è il pilotaggio intelligente del relè “zero crossing” che ottimizza l’inserzione del carico aumentando la durata del relè.
I rilevatori di movimento e i sensori di presenza sono strumenti che aumentano l’efficienza energetica degli impianti elettrici in cui vengono installati. Questi dispositivi, infatti, adattano il consumo di energia elettrica alle reali necessità d’illuminazione. La soglia crepuscolare impostabile permette di selezionare quando la luce naturale non è più sufficiente per l’utente e quindi deve essere accesa la luce artificiale. La regolazione del ritardo allo spegnimento consente di limitare al massimo gli sprechi, dando la possibilità di impostare per quanto tempo la luce deve rimanere accesa in assenza di persone nell’angolo di rilevamento. Ciò significa accendere la luce solo quando la luce del sole non è sufficiente e solo per il tempo in cui si è presenti nell’ambiente.
I rilevatori di movimento sono interruttori elettronici comandati da un sensore a raggi infrarossi passivi sensibile alle radiazioni di calore emesse dalle persone in movimento. Il rilevatore di movimento attiva le utenze collegate (accensione lampada, ventilatori) quando rileva un movimento nella sua area di copertura. La disattivazione avviene con un ritardo di tempo regolabile dall’utente. Un sensore crepuscolare regolabile inibisce l’accensione dell’illuminazione in funzione della luminosità ambientale. I rilevatori trovano applicazione per l’accensione delle luci di: corridoi privati e pubblici, autorimesse, viali di accesso e in ingressi delle abitazioni, porticati, scalinate, corridoi, bagni ecc.
